Welcome Kayligrace!

With the baby boom going (and it is).  We have had lots of opportunities to take photos of not only Grant but his friends:).  Steven and Beth were in our birthing class and really wanted some fun photos of lil Kayligrace.  Grant and Kayligrace were both born on March 25th which is crazy as Grant was two weeks early and Kayligrace was two weeks late whick technically makes Grant a month younger:).  This beautiful family is moving to the east coast soon but I think it would be fun if someday her and Grant can be penpals.  How cool would that be.  Okay enough typing, meet Kayligrace!

It’’s Kathrine’’s turn -

I”m telling you, there is a total baby boom!  The fun thing about doing baby shoots right now is that Grant gets to join us and…  well sleep through all of the fun:).  Keith and Kim had the three of us over to do some photos of their new daughter Kathrine.  One of the cool things about Kathrine, who was a week old, was that she pretty much had her eyes open the whole time.  It was pretty neat.  Meet Kathrine -

We were even able to get a shot of Kathrine with Grandma.

Lindsey + Sean

Meg and I are excited to head to the islands to shoot Lindsey and Sean”s wedding in just a little over a month.  This last week, I had the opportunity to hang out with them and do some engagement photos and as Sean put, ”hey, that was pretty easy”.  Yes!  That”s one of the benefits of doing an engagement shoot for every couple is that we can gain that feeling prior to the wedding day for those who aren”t used to being in front of the camera:).  I had a great time Sean & Lindsey and we are looking forward to your fast approaching wedding day!  Enjoy.

Introducing….OSCAR!!!!

We had the pleasure of shooting Molly and Steve”s wedding a few years back – and oh are they an amazing couple!!  We absolutely love what we do because we get to witness how peoples lives change throughout the years!  Molly and Steve welcomed their little guy into their family recently – and we were so excited that we were able to do his first portraits.  It was a pleasure – and without talking to much – please enjoy the pictures!

For this next image – I have seen this image quite a bit recently and could not pass up the opportunity to try it out on Oscar.  He has the most amazingly thick eyelashes I have seen in a long time!

This next image is a rare sight in early April – the bright orb in the sky!  The ring of rainbow around the sun could not be passed up!  Proof that the sun does shine in Washington!!

I love this tender family moment…makes me smile!

Thank you Steve, Molly, and Oscar for making the trek up north! It was so nice to meet your little guy!  Enjoy!

Ryan + Anna +…

I have known Ryan and Anna for many years and it”s been fun reconnecting with them in the last few months.  We were even in the same birthing class.  This last week we spent some time doing maternity photos for them.  Anna and Ryan we are excited to meet you”re little one in the coming weeks.  Enjoys these photos and we look forward to capture some more soon:).

Amanda + George

George and Amanda are an amazing couple!  They came up from Seattle to a sunny Bellingham day to do our favorite Tour ”de Bellingham.  They are planning an intimate wedding at Gasworks Park this summer with guests flying in from all over the world!  Amanda and George completely adore each other – as well as completely entertain each other!

We had such a great time hanging out with you two and are truly excited to be a part of your big day! Enjoy!!

Welcome to our newest member of Evantide Photography

Last night at 12:13 am Grant Anthony Nelson was born!  Meg was amazing, Grant was amazing and I got to witness it all!  Thanks to ”Grandmas” for making it up just in time to be a part of the festivities!  Welcome Grant, we love you and are excited to see what God has in store for you.
